Marilyn entered General practice as a partner in South London in 1988 and has worked full time since then. She is an experienced and passionate educator both as a Gp Trainer and RCGP Examiner. Marilyn has spent many years teaching trainees, new Gps, mature Gps and other health professionals the art of effective consultation and communication and how to best navigate any difficulties experienced in general practice. Marilyn has been Chair of RCGP South London Faculty and is current GP Lead on Educational issues around EOLC in Croydon.

Her special interest in Pain and her long involvement with End of Life Care was inspired by meeting Dame Cecily Saunders.
