Carrie is an experienced public speaker and is currently a visiting lecturer at City University London. She is a qualified End of Life Care Soul Midwife/ Doula / TLC education programme trainer facilitating conversations to support advance care planning.
Carrie offers experience in working with people and their families pre and post bereavement and advocates advance care planning. She is a keen promoter of the “What Matters Most" conversations to prepare for an individualised end of life care experience. A Registered Nurse for 30 years plus. Up to December 2022, she worked as UK Professional Lead for Community & End of Life Care at the Royal College of Nursing.
Carrie also works independently in various roles, including independent funeral celebrant, local district councillor, and Soul Midwife/companion to the dying.
